Stretch velour is a luxuriously soft knit fabric. It has an ultra soft nap on the right side a cool smooth back. This is perfect for creating something a little extra cozy for warmth and comfort! This weight is very versatile and would create lovely tops, hoodies, cardigans and dresses.!

When sewing with stretch velour, you will notice the nap runs smoothly one direction and not so much the other. When cutting out your pattern, take note of this and place your pattern pieces so that the nap will run smoothly as you run your hand down the garment (ie from the waist to hip). Depending on your pattern, you may need additional yardage.
